Who am I? A quick introduction to my persona

It seems one habit when starting Blaugust is to begin introducing yourself, which well, it will come in handy for the About me page I'm going to build for the blog!

I'm Krystal, a.k.a. Krystaline. As my [every social network] bio states, I'm a 32 years old Spaniard trans woman who has been in HRT for 6 years already. Currently living with my boyfriend in my hometown near Valencia, at the east coast. I spend my days programming webapps in Angular to earn my paycheck, because life is a bitch and rent is through the roof. Remember, kids: There is no good landlord.

I also happen to be a furry, which pretty much explains the title of this blog: Afterthoughts of a dumb dragoness.

Wait, a dragon?

Hell yeah, because dragons are cool as hell!

I'll take advantage and introduce you my fursona, Krystaline. She's a badass fluffy dragon, a goofball and my default portrait on the Internet. Her personality is a mirror of mine, so there's not much to talk about her in this regard apart from being in a polycule with both of my partner's fursonas: Kiba and Misery.

You can see more art from her on my FurAffinity account. I tend to interact with the NSFW side of the fandom, so keep that in mind (though if you don't have an account/are not logged in you won't see any NSFW art, don't worry).

This dragon is mess, too

Blursed with an ADHD diagnosis when I was 11 and suspecting I might have autism, I could attribute to it most of both good and bad things that happened in my life.

On one hand, it made me being more prominent than average on my hyperfocus interests; those ranging from multimedia production/edition (especially videography) to technology, videogames and Formula 1 history. My inherent curiosity puts me into rabbit holes more than often so I end up being at least baseline knowledgeable in many fields.

On the other, hyperfocuses change each week and in the end I'm not has proficient as I could be in many. I'm so diverse in interests that in the end I don't quite fit anywhere.

What to expect in this blog

Many things! You can find me nerding about technology, like for example when I bought a Blackberry last month, talking about any videogames I've played recently (now going through my second Super Metroid ROM hack in a row) or even music!

🎮 Videogames: Avid Rocket League player and Metroid fan (currently going through my second Super Metroid ROM hack in a row).

⌨️ Technology: Programmer and PC power user, I enjoy playing with any kind of technology that I put my hands on; it being an old Blackberry, yet another gamepad or a selfhosted e-ink screen attached to a ESP32 microcontroller.

🎵 Music: Right now I'm sitting on a >20k songs library in my server, which I like enjoy sharing small snippets of my fav tunes or my own made mashups. I have also been scrobbling on last.fm since 2010.

🏍️ Motorbike travels: Since I got my bigger bike license last March (had a 125cc until then), we purchased a Honda NC750X which I'd love to take around to travel as much as our budget (and cat child) allows.
